| 梁賡義教授於1982 年獲得University of Washington, Seattle 生物統計學博士。1982-1986 任職Johns Hopkins University 生物統計系助理教授，1986-1990副教授，1990 迄今擔任正教授。 |
| 梁賡義教授是國際知名遺傳流行病學專家，他所專長的生物統計正是進入基因醫學時代不可或缺的一門學問。他經常不辭辛苦跨海奔波，把生物統計學最新發展帶回國內，提昇國人研究水準。梁教授和Scott Zeger 在1986 年共同發明了「GEE(Generalized Estimating Equations)」法，解決了醫學及公共衛生領域很多有關聯的「綜觀數據」，於1987 年獲頒美國統計學會的最佳生物統計論文獎，開始了生物統計新紀元。梁教授於2002 年榮獲中央研究院院士。 |
